File format of images:[]

Monkeycaper: We should use 1 format for all pictures. I suggest we use .png, as it is higher quality.

It's not always that simple. Most people screenshot in .jpg, and not everyone knows how to convert. Also, super high quality is not always necessary. General wiki rules pretty much go with .pngs for in game icons, while screenshots are done in .jpg. It has much more to do with overall file size, and the number of images on a page than a hard and fast rule. I would agree however, that all images should use lower case extensions, simply to make it easier to use images in templates, since MediaWiki is case sensitive in all things. -- Wynthyst User Wynthyst sig iconsm talk 08:42, 19 November 2013 (UTC)

Monkeycaper: True, I guess. But for pictures of landscapes, we should probably use higher quality then say, blocks.

Terrain Blocks/Plants:[]

MrWooly: Quick question: Right now, Grasslands Tree Bark is listed as a terrain block, whereas Bluetree is listed as a plant. Which one is correct? Also, the former lists uses etc., the latter points to a different page (Bluetree (Block)) instead. What's up with that? And lastly: Why was my change reverted saying that Bluetree was added in the current build (91539), and also listing all of its uses? That's all for now. :-)

Monkeycaper: I haven't had time to play recently, but if you can confirm (screen shot) that blue tree's are in the game, I'll revert the changes. Also, Grasslands Tree Bark should be a plant.

MrWooly: Here you go, with and without GUI.

Monkeycaper K, thanks. I reverted the change's.
